November 9 marks the 86th anniversary of Kristallnacht (“Night of Broken Glass”). This is often referred to as the beginning of the Holocaust, when the nature of Nazi Germany's persecution of Jews changed from economic, political, and social exclusion to physical violence, including beatings, incarceration, and murder. With each passing year, there are fewer survivors left to tell their stories.

Join with other Women's Voices members at Tish Park on the Washington University campus for a walk through of the public art installation, 'Lest We Forget.' The exhibition features 90 larger-than-life photos of Holocaust survivors from around the world and pays homage to 12 Holocaust survivors living in St. Louis.

The 'Lest We Forget' exhibition will be on display from October 20-November 6, with a public opening from 5-7 p.m. on October 20 at the Kemper Art Museum.
