Summer Office Hours

In July and August, our church office will be closed on Fridays. We will resume our normal Monday through Friday office schedule in September.

The Poets' Corner

The Poets’ Corner is six 60-minute weekly sessions for people curious about poetry. In each session we discuss an eclectic range of works, three poems by women and men from various cultures and times. At Christ Church we are invited to pay attention to life. Poetry helps us do that, and no question or comment about the selected poems can be wrong. Each session starts after the Sunday 9 AM service. Please bring your name tag and any coffee-hour refreshments to the upstairs conference room. Poems will be provided. Peter Trenouth is your host. The Poets’ Corner starts June 14.

Plymouth Taskforce to End Homelessness Golf Tournament

The Plymouth Taskforce to End Homelessness will hold its 20th Annual Golf Tournament on Monday, August 24th at Southers Marsh beginning at 1 PM. The funds raised will support our Overnights of Hospitality and our permanent housing units. In addition, the Taskforce will be partnering with Father Bill's Mainspring to raise money for the building of the Housing Resource Center in Plymouth. Notes from the Vestry meeting of June 17, 2026

• Motion to move forward with parking space lines and paving was carried.
• One way and handicap signs to be ordered.
• Motion to eliminate Vestry Liaisons and utilize Parish Ministry Network minutes for ministry reports was carried.
• Donor bequest allocation conversation to continue at July meeting. Parish to be involved at a later point in the discernment process.

Scheduled for Wednesday, July 15, at 6:30 pm. Meeting will be hosted by Kat LiBretto in her studio at the Kingston Collection. Directions will be provided.

Christ Church is offering a series of get togethers designed for anyone who is grieving the loss of a loved one, whether the death is recent or in the past. Participants will have the opportunity to share where they are on their grief journey, receive mutual support, share ways to cope, and may, through prayer and meditation, find new strength and hope to continue on their healing journey.

Christ Church Thrift Shoppe

Community outreach is all important to us and at the Thrift Shoppe this summer we focused our efforts on camperships for children in the area. But other community needs are great and continue. With that in mind, would you take a look in your jewelry box to see if you have that odd gold or silver earring? That broken gold or silver bracelet? What about an old kinked chain? Put it to good use for the community outreach efforts at the Christ Church Thrift Shoppe! Bring in those items you have just sitting around and have them benefit the community, our neighbors and friends, who could use our support. Many thanks for being part of the Thrift Shoppe community.
