Keeping Families Close at RMHCCIN
Mission Moment: The Strength of Family

The Kaboski family stayed at our House for 164 days while their son, Michael, received treatment at Riley Hospital for Children at Indiana University Health. Watch their inspiring story to hear what  keeping families close  meant to them in their time of need.

The Strength of Family

A Message from our CEO
RMHCCIN CEO, MIchelle Study-Campbell, and her husband, Michael Campbell.
The days are shorter, the air is colder --
November has officially arrived and what a November it has already been! On Friday, November 3, RMHCCIN had the pleasure of hosting our 10th annual  Taste event at the beautiful Biltwell Event Center. Thanks to your help,  we had a sold-out crowd and a record-breaking year, raising more than $200,000 for the House -- amazing! A big thank you to all of our attendees and the partners below for making this happen!

As Thanksgiving approaches and we reflect on all that we are grateful for -- know that our families and all of us here at RMHCCIN are thankful for you. Whether you attend our events, volunteer at our House or simply share our posts -- your continued support is the reason our families are able to stay together and near the care they need -- no matter the distance from home. We could not do what we do without you and are continually grateful for your support.

Have a safe and happy Thanksgiving!
We Had a Record Breaking Year!
What a night! We are so grateful to our 400+ friends and supporters who came to our Taste: the Pacific Northwest event and the more than 200 that joined us for the 2nd Annual Taste After Dark after-party! Together, we were able to raise more than $200,000 in support of the families we serve at RMHCCIN!

An extra special thank you to the Taste Planning Committee, RMHCCIN Board of Directors and the Young Professionals Board, our fabulous emcee,  Scott  Sander o f WISH-TV, photographer Brayden  Bridgeman staff volunteers  and our generous partners who made the evening possible!

Help keep families close this #GivingTuesday!

After a weekend of eating, visiting and shopping --  Tuesday is for giving. On November 28, Ronald McDonald House Charities of Central Indiana is proud to once again participate in #GivingTuesday - a global day of giving back.

RMHCCIN joined the #GivingTuesday movement in 2015 with a goal of raising $10,000. Since then, thanks to your help and social media savvy, we have raised more than  $82,000 over the last two years to help  keep families close   -- and we need your help to do it again! Help us celebrate 35 years of comfort and care by helping us meet our goal of $35,000 on #GivingTuesday!

For more information on how you can get involved, please visit our website or contact Rachel Moehle at or at (317) 267-0605, ext. 208.

Donating your time and talent to the Ronald McDonald House can be a rewarding experience and a real gift to the families staying at the House. Whether you are looking for an ongoing commitment or want to share a special gift or talent on a short-term basis, there is a way for you to make a difference at Ronald McDonald House Charities of Central Indiana! Current needs include but are not limited to:

Guest Service Volunteers (GSV)
GSV's are our front-line volunteers and often the first face our families see when walking in the door. Duties include checking families in and out of their rooms, answering the phone, receiving donations, light housekeeping, and assisting RMHCCIN staff with various projects. This is a reoccurring , individual volunteer opportunity. We ask that GSV's are able to make one three-hour commitment every 2 weeks.

Prepare A Freezer Meal
Help fill our freezers to feed RMHCCIN families when we have a cancellation or do not have a meal group pre-scheduled. You bring the ingredients and a disposable pan - we provide the kitchen and utensils. Recipes can range from soups and casseroles to something as easy as a pasta bake! This is a great team-building opportunity that can be scheduled at a time convenient for your group.

Meal Groups
We are in need of meal groups for both our House at Limestone (located on the IUPUI campus) and our House located inside Riley. RMHCCIN welcomes meal groups on a one-time or reoccurring basis. Additional dinner dates and meal group guidelines can be found here .
