This issue is all about Halloween and hurricanes!

Greetings Tutors!
Based on feedback, we have updated the format to Keeping in Touch. We hope you like the refresh. Do you find this new format more readable? Are there topics/categories that you would like to see included? We want to hear from you! Contact Carol with your thoughts and ideas.

Traditionally, we have celebrated tutors and their students with an appreciation luncheon in October. Although we cannot recognize and thank you in-person this year, we champion the determination, commitment, and hard work you and your student have undertaken to develop and improve life-changing English skills. These past months have challenged everyone in ways we could not have predicted. We are grateful for your continued involvement with Literacy DuPage.

This newsletter offers resources about the observance and cultural celebrations of Halloween and the natural occurrences and disasters associated with hurricanes.

As always, please do not hesitate to reach out if you have questions or need help with tutoring strategies during this time. Be well and take care.

With gratitude and hope,

Your Tutor Support Specialist
