This issue is all about Father's Day and Juneteenth!
Greetings, Tutors!

There are two celebrations to observe this weekend. This Sunday commemorates Father’s Day — a day set aside to honor dads and show them an appreciation for their influence in our lives, their sacrifices, hard work, and devotion to their families. On Thursday, President Biden signed legislation making Juneteenth Day a national holiday. This day has also been called Freedom Day or Emancipation Day by African Americans for the past 156 years with celebrations and observances. Enjoy sharing these celebratory lessons with your student!

As always, please do not hesitate to reach out if you have questions or need help with tutoring strategies during this time. Be well and take care.

With gratitude and hope,
