This issue is all about the Olympics and tornadoes!
Greetings, Tutors!

You and your student have been OLYMPIANS through your perseverance, resilience, and commitment to learning over the past year. Congratulations on your successes. Isn't it a cautious transition back to familiar routines and activities but a good feeling, such as meeting with your student in person?

Enjoy your time together!

As always, please do not hesitate to reach out if you have questions or need help with tutoring strategies during this time. Be well and take care.

With gratitude and hope,

Tutor Engagement

  • As libraries are re-opening for full service, tutors and students are carefully and experimentally returning to in-person tutoring. Literacy DuPage requires all tutors and sign a waiver of liability if meeting in-person. Click here for tutor and student waiver documents. These documents should be returned to dheppner@literacydupage.org.
  • Do you have a tip or idea to share with other tutors? We want to hear from YOU! Email Carol your ideas, questions, or opportunities and your contribution may be featured in an upcoming issue!
