Two experienced members of the National Response Team from Presbyterian Disaster Assistance offer up helpful practices
LOUISVILLE — The Rev. Suzanne Malloy and Marilyn Stone, two veteran members of Presbyterian Disaster Assistance’s National Response Team, lent their experience to Tuesday’s installment of the Disaster Emotional and Spiritual Care Academy, for which PDA is a partner. Malloy and Stone used multiple examples to illustrate how caregivers can build resilience as they accompany people impacted by a disaster.

Stewardship Kaleidoscope 2026
Registration for the annual Stewardship Kaleidoscope Conference is now underway, with the early-bird registration deadline fast approaching for the Sept. 21-23 event to be held at the Renaissance Baltimore Harborplace Hotel.
“Stewardship Kaleidoscope 2026 invites church leaders to explore faithful stewardship in a time of uncertainty,” said Caralee Wheeler, event co-chair and development program associate for the Presbyterian Foundation. “Together, participants will reflect on creative and adaptive approaches to generosity — with the hope that every attendee will walk away having named their next three actionable steps for ministry.”

The Second Annual Rural Ideas Conference will be in Clarksville, Arkansas on the campus of the University of the Ozarks. Registration is open now. The cost to attend the conference is FREE!
