Volume 52 | January 22, 2022
This issue is all about the Lunar New Year
and Valentine's Day.
Greetings, Tutors!

The Chinese New Year (also known as the Lunar New Year or Spring Festival) begins with the second new moon after the winter solstice.

February 1, 2022, is a chance to start fresh, see loved ones, and share in the hope of good things to come. It presents an opportunity for optimism and renewal.

This year is the Year of the Tiger. Those born in years of the Tiger are vigorous and ambitious, daring and courageous, enthusiastic and generous, self-confident with a sense of justice, and a commitment to help others for the greater good. We hope that the Year of the Tiger will be one of the best years for you and your student.

Valentine’s Day is not just a box of chocolates or a bouquet of flowers. It is a day of love. It is a reminder to do something nice for others. And to appreciate and celebrate those in our lives. As tutors, you are consistently present, supportive, and encouraging to your student through good times and bad. Thank you for sharing your time and talents in a heartfelt manner.

As always, please do not hesitate to reach out if you have questions or need help with tutoring strategies during this time. Be well and take care.

With gratitude and hope,

Your Tutor Support Specialist
Tutor Engagement

Right now, we have two problems. Our “good” problem is that there are 60 students interested in improving their English language skills and waiting for new tutors!  Our other problem is we need more tutors.

Please help us recruit tutors for our program. Share your tutoring experiences with family members, friends, and associates and encourage them to come to one of our Meet & Greet Orientation sessions to learn more about the program and the process to become a tutor.

Here you'll find the list of upcoming Meet & Greet orientation sessions:
