Dear Saint Mary Friends,
Heading into the Church’s Trinity Sunday, please note the videos (below) on the supreme mystery and reality of our Faith: The Blessed Trinity of one God in three persons. And since we are also entering into Memorial Day Weekend, please see the video (below) provided by the Military Archdiocese of the United States. First of all, however, here are just a few reminders about our recently changed procedures for Mass and Confession. They are important to repeat since the number of parishioners is growing and those returning may not know of the changes.
Last weekend was a good beginning with more parishioners returning in-person to Mass. Please God, that increases as more of our community return to worship together. Once again, the simple guidelines are:
- No registration for Mass is required.
- Those doubly vaccinated need not wear masks but can choose to do so.
- Parishioners may sit wherever they so choose.
Sacrament of Confession
Confessions will now be heard in the Hall. Parishioners can simply walk into the school hall and line up for confession. The same mask policy stated above is in effect also for Confession.
Live-streaming of 11:00 Mass
Beginning this Sunday, May 30, you can watch Mass LIVE from our website and Facebook page but the Mass will not be recorded and posted for parishioners to watch at a later time. Bishop Caggiano sees this as another step toward getting all of us back to Mass in person. This encourages parishioners who still have valid reasons for staying away from in-person worship to join with those physically in attendance in real time participation and communion. So, yes, 11:00 Mass will be live-streamed, but not available later in the day.
I am happy to report that starting next week the Parish Offices will be open to the public Tuesdays and Thursdays from 10 AM - 2 PM.
Blessings of peace and health to all,
