This is the last weekend to complete our 2019 Student Survey!

It only takes 20 minutes to make a difference. We want to understand the challenges our students are facing and where more support is needed

In addition to rotating strike actions, ETFO and OSSTF members will be conducting service withdrawal strike action in elementary and secondary schools. The OCDSB will continue to send updates to parents as more information becomes available.
The OCDSB is inviting parents and students to complete a short survey about the 2020-2021 school year calendar. The survey will remain open until January 26th, 2020. We've had over 14,000 surveys completed so far!
If your child will be 4 years old before December 31st, 2020, they are ready to start kindergarten in September 2020! Our Official Registration week is January 20-27th. Call or stop by your child’s new school or register  online ! Learn more about our Information Nights on our website.
As part of its Right to Read inquiry, the Ontario Human Rights Commission (OHRC) has launched a survey for students with reading disabilities and their parents and guardians. The survey will help the OHRC understand and report on the experiences of students with reading disabilities.
To enhance our existing absence-check procedure, we have introduced a new, more efficient student absence reporting system called  SchoolMessenger SafeArrival in select schools. The rest of the schools will get the system via a staggered rollout through the 2019-2020 school year.
