TIPS TO REMEMBER ON HOW YOU CAN HELP
PRESERVE NATURE'S WILDLIFE
| |
Remember abide by the "Leave No Trace" principles when visiting Arabia Mountain. Your cooperation in maintaining these guidelines helps us protect and cherish this beautiful natural landscape for generations to come!
- "Stay on the Gray": While exploring the trails on the bare rock outcrop, please stick to the bare granite whenever feasible. Foot traffic can damage fragile lichen and patches of sand, mud, and water. By staying on the granite, you'll help protect these delicate ecosystems and still revel in the beautiful flowers that emerge from these patches.
- Leash Your Dog (and Pack Their Poo): Keep your furry friends on a leash to prevent them from disturbing the habitat. Avoid letting them run through or drink from the mountain's puddles. And remember, if your dog leaves a mess, kindly pick it up and take it with you.
- Leave Nature Untouched; Take Memories Home: Leave flowers, rocks, and natural elements undisturbed. Capture memories through photographs, but refrain from taking natural artifacts with you. If you have trash, ensure to carry it home for proper disposal.
