UPDATE AT HOWIE'S and ALEXANDER'S

We would like to thank all our customers for continuing to count on us for your grocery needs.
These are trying times and we are working hard to have as little disruption as possible while still maintaining safety precautions for our customers and staff. Our staff is gloved and you will see us continually wiping down surfaces. We appreciate your patience for the new rules we have put in place of limiting the amount of people allowed in the store at one time. Please observe, as well as possible, the 6ft. rule.

Rest assured there is not a food shortage.
Our Meat Department, Produce, and Bakery are stocked and ready to serve you. Our kitchen is in full swing and our fresh/frozen bone broth case is full. House-made soups are made daily. We have plenty of eggs, milk and cheese. Canned goods are slowly being replaced.
We are expecting a delivery of paper goods at the beginning of the week, but the situation is fluid and our distributors cannot guarantee delivery.
In order for us to assess the situation with our distributors, and to stock our shelves for in-house customers, we will be suspending our delivery service from March 23-25. Our elderly and house bound customers depend on our delivery service and we will be attending to their needs first when we resume service.

And don't forget when you are having Virtual Happy Hour with friends, Howie's Market has an extensive selection of fine wines in all price ranges. Our liquor wall has expanded to include the finest small batch whiskeys and craft beers are cold in the cooler.
As with most situations, there is a silver lining. We are happy to meet many new people who have come to realize that "shop small" is not just a slogan; that there are real people who will go the extra mile to make sure their customers are well cared for. So please patronize your
local businesses whenever possible.
