So, why keep a journal for your

knit and crochet work?

What a good question! Shouldn't our relaxing, creative time be free of any constrictions?

One can certainly be a knitter or crocheter who doesn't write things down, but the advantages of keeping some kind of a journal are many.

1/ You will always know when you started a project and when you finished it.

2/ You will have a place to keep track of the yarn, the pattern, the needles and hooks.

3/ You will have an excuse to buy really neat colored pencils and pens, just for your journal.

4/ You will be able to keep track of the variations that you made to a design so that if and when you make the project again, you can add your personal touch.

5/ There will be a place where you can glue in photos, yarn labels, bits of the yarn, and other ephemera.
