We hope this email finds you all healthy and doing well. We miss you but it does not look good for returning to dancing anytime soon. Most of our group is still pretty much "sheltered at home." But there are a few of you that are getting out and around so we thought we'd let you know about the instructors that are teaching.

Meet our new Members Bruce and Teri Brown— Wait until you read about what they are doing during this Pandemic!

Riding Across the US on a Tandem Bicycle Raising Money for Toys for Tots

Bruce Brown, Assistant Coordinator for the Toys for Tots Calabash NC campaign, and his wife, Teri, are new to ballroom dancing and have recently joined BDPS. You may have met them at the beginner classes in Calabash or at the dances before COVID hit. On June 29, they began what they call their ‘adventure of a lifetime.’ Bruce and Teri will dip the rear tire of their tandem bicycle into the Pacific Ocean just beyond Astoria, Oregon and ride to Washington, DC, where they will dip the front tire of their tandem in the Potomac River.

Remember our DooWop Dance in January? It was only 6 months ago - seems like a lifetime!

We will be back, so stay safe so you can dance with us again!
