Dear Little Hearts Parents,

Last week the Mater Campus came alive with the return of your precious daughters to our classrooms. The joy on their faces, when seeing their classmates and teachers, certainly warmed my heart! We pride ourselves on offering a developmentally appropriate early learning program based on best practices. We know the importance of having our youngest learners on campus, as play provides such an important part in their physical, emotional and cognitive development.

I, along with the entire Little Hearts faculty, am committed to following all of the safety protocols outlined by ASH to keep your children safe and healthy while on our campus. We know we will encounter some bumps along the way, but please understand that we remain vigilant in practicing our safety protocols and reviewing them on a regular basis. The true key to success will be a concerted effort at home and at school to adhere to safety guidelines. Yesterday, the entire ASH faculty and staff participated in a seminar with Sr. Guste, reminding us of the importance of being socially responsible outside of school. Sr. Guste emphasized how the health of each one of us is connected to the health of ASH as a whole.

I am reaching out to ask your cooperation in the upcoming weeks with the following protocols:
  • Refrain from hosting or attending large gatherings, including birthday parties, class get-togethers and large family gatherings.
  • Wear a mask and physically distance yourself, as these serve as the strongest safety measures for each of us.
  • Remember that our decisions impact the safety of others.
  • If you or a family member has fever, cough, shortness of breath, congestion, or any other COVID-related symptom, they should stay home.

Sacred Heart is a beautiful community, comprised of caring people, who are concerned about the greater good. I am blessed to have the opportunity to educate your Little Hearts, and I am thankful for the trust you have in me and my team. I appreciate your partnership with ASH, and I look forward to a wonderful year ahead!

Sincerely,

Maria Schneider
