Run for Their Lives – a global initiative for hostages


After Oct. 7, an international movement was launched to bring awareness to the hostages that were taken into Gaza. It is called Run for Their Lives and groups around the world meet weekly to walk or run for about 18 minutes to let the families of the hostages know that the world is with them.

The Ottawa Jewish Community Foundation is proud to offer scholarships and grants along with philanthropic programs with the shared purpose of benefiting our community. The various awards, presented yearly at the Foundation’s Annual General Meeting, are meant to enhance the work of individuals or organizations in our community and to grow Jewish leadership and scholarship.

The Greenberg Families Library has gone digital with new Libby app



The Greenberg Families Library (GFL) is excited to announce that Libby is now available to Soloway JCC and Greenberg Families Library members! Librarian Carlie MacPherson explains that Libby is a free app that allows readers to enjoy ebooks, digital audiobooks, and magazines from the library.
