A VISIT FROM AN UP & COMING AUTHOR,
THIRD GRADE POETRY CAFE,
PRESCHOOL CELEBRATIONS,
&
A KINDERGARTEN GRADUATION!
Our school is a VERY busy place these days, as we prepare to cross the finish line of the 2021-2022 school year... and what a year it has been!
Thank you for an amazing final, full week of school!
Our 8th graders had a beautiful evening for their Baccalaureate Mass and Commencement Exercises.. off to high school they go!
This week's highlights included a visit from Miss Debbie, a local author who came to share her knowledge and experience with writing and publishing books! Miss Debbie's newest book titled, A Reindeer's Secret Wish, will be on the shelves hopefully by Christmas! Our kindergarten through Grade 4 students were able to vote on which reindeer stuffed animal should be sold alongside her book!
Our third-grade parents gathered in the "Poetry Cafe" (a.k.a. the school gym) for an afternoon recital of various poems written by their child authors! Each third grader selected three of their favorite works of art to share aloud to the crowd. The sweet finale was a musical performance that the third graders had sung at our Easter Celebration, "Lord I Lift Your Name on High".
On Tuesday we began the staggered exit of the youngest members of the school community! Our smallest of wonders took to the stage first, singing their hearts out and celebrating the completion of a wonderful first year of school experience! Miss Dandurand, Mrs. Duff, Ms. Cordeiro and Mrs. Douglass bid farewell to their students yesterday, also with singing and a send-off!
Today's weather was the perfect backdrop for an amazing Kindergarten Graduation! Thank you Mrs. Jason and Mrs. Motto for another outstanding year and congratulations to our new first graders!
A JOY-FILLED WEEK!
God Bless & Have a Great Weekend!
