A BEAUTIFUL DAY TO ADORE OUR LORD

IN THE SCHOOL GROTTO WITH THE MARONITE SISTERS...

We had the opportunity to adore Jesus in our beautiful school grotto this week, and our students (most especially the younger ones) were awestruck by the prayerful experience!

If their eyes were not fixed on Jesus in the Monstrance, they were certainly fixed on the Sisters, as seen so beautifully in these photos!

As we continue to celebrate the JOY that we experience in our lives, we teach our students how to pray in thanksgiving for all that we are blessed with, as well as pray in petition for relief with our struggles.

We are grateful, thankful, and truly blessed.

Next week we begin our MAP testing and are hoping to attend

a special school First Friday Mass at the church!

(Grades K-8 only and weather permitting of course! )

• MAP Growth Testing- Our fall MAP testing window starts next week! Students in Kindergarten through Grade 3 will open our assessment window, with testing taking place in the mornings! . Thank you in advance for assuring that your child has a good night's rest, a healthy breakfast, a positive attitude and a readiness to do their absolute BEST on the TEST!
• Otis Spunkmeyer Time! Everyone loves cookies, and this fundraiser is usually a huge hit! Packets went home in Friday folder this week with details for sales!

Health Office:

• If your child is out sick with symptoms requiring COVID testing (see daily checklist) please be aware that school nurses are only able to accept a PCR test at this time, per the Acushnet Board of Health.

• In a new FAQ document that was released after the COVID Test and Stay letter went out, we were informed that students (and staff) will not be able to swab themselves for the BinaxNOW COVID test used for Test and Stay. The shallow nasal swab would be performed by the testers from CIC and parents should stay until their child obtains a negative result and proceeds to class.

Guess what we just learned?!"

Thinking it might be a new math concept or a science lesson on magnetism, she continued,

As we all think ahead to plan for our future child care needs, please note that on the half days of school that will be upon us before we know it, (10/29 & 11/24) school lunch will be available and Extended Care will take place until 2pm.
