The ALLELUIA JOY continues...
.... and so does
THE FUN WITH CHICKS,
THE USE OF OUR OUTDOOR SPACE,
A CHURCH VISIT,
A GREAT FIELD TRIP
&
THE GRADE 2 LIVING WAX MUSEUM!
Our school is a VERY busy place these days, as we prepare to cross the finish line of the 2021-2022 school year... and what a year it has been!
This week's festivities included more preschool explorations of the joy of new life! The smallest members of the school community are overjoyed to play with and show love to the newest members of their class. The chicks will be "crossing the road" soon however, to settle in to their new home where they have the space to move about more freely.
With the nice weather finally upon us, it is a frequent sight to see our various classes enjoying the beauty and abundance of our outdoor learning spaces. Grades 4 & 5 could be seen completing assignments and engaging in literature circles on Tuesday this week when the building was a bit warm.
Grade 5 got the chance to have a personal church tour with Father Ryan this week to cover some of the objectives of the Theology curriculum. Students got a behind the scenes, hands on learning experience, as they visited the sacristy, learned about the relics located in the altar and were actually able to touch and hold the chalice used at Mass.
The tour was informative, fun and enjoyed by all!
After a few years of not being able to venture off campus, Grades 3 & 5 boarded a bus to Plimoth Plantation and of course the Grade 2 annual Wax Museum tradition was a huge hit!
Thanks for another outstanding week!
God Bless & Have a Great Weekend!
