WHEN WILL WARMER SPRING WEATHER "BEE" HERE?
Many bright eyed and rested, as well as a few sun-kissed faces returned to school this week, ready to "press on" through the remaining weeks of the 2021-2022 school year! I hope that you all had a great week.
Reentry can have its share of struggles, so this week seemed to include some hands on fun. From fairytale castle building in preschool to ferris wheel fun in Grade 5, and then of course kite building in Grades 3 & 4, our students experienced some quality STEM based learning. A few classes were also able to "cash in" on some rewards that were earned through either the Boosterthon or Idita-read incentives! A very chilly, yet successful week was had by all!
Calendars will be turned this weekend, and May will be a whirlwind of activity! Please keep an eye on the Dates to Know About section of the newsletter to stay informed of all of the various happenings...it will go quickly!
Lastly, let's kick off the month of May with a Spirit Wear Day!
Staff and students are welcome to wear spirit wear on Monday, May 2nd, a reward for our can tab collection for the Ronald McDonald House. Middle school students should wear their FAM House shirts, please!
God Bless & Have a Great Weekend!
