Another Week into 2022!

This four day week was a quick one, as our staff and students continue to press forward in their academic endeavors and responsibilities.

From virtual guest readers in Grade 1 to Doctor Dodgeball in Grade 2, much fun was had this week! Today's NJHS sponsored Dress in Blue for $2 was of course a big hit, as well as a big benefit to Project Rachel...

...to the tune of $476!

As expected, the reality of Catholic Schools Week is closing in on us, and the planning of festivities is underway. The fun will not, however, distract us from our winter MAP Growth testing session. As a part of Catholic Schools Week, we will launch our winter benchmark standardized testing, which will provide data to validate our achievement, as well as provide important information for designing curriculum and instruction as we move through the remainder of the school year.

Don't forget, OPEN HOUSE... Sunday, January 30th from 12-2pm.

Thank you for communicating the benefits of Catholic education to your friends and family!

Enjoy the long weekend, try to stay healthy and God bless!

Fly on the Wall Heard in the Hall....

This week a third grade student made his way to the nurse's office, after what was reported to be a "falling down the stairs" incident. The child was certainly emotional, yet not injured in any way.

Nurse: "What happened? How did you fall?"

Student: "I totally slipped and fell down the stairs!"

Nurse: "Are you OK?"

Student: "I am. You know, just like that helicopter in Philly that crashed yet no one was hurt, I share their feelings....

God was with me."
