• Trimester 1 Progress Reports were sent home electronically this week. If you did not receive your child(ren)'s report, please reach out to the office to let us know.
• Our MAP Growth Testing window is just about closed! MAP reports will be shared in Friday folders next week and will be discussed at Parent Conferences.
• Parent Teacher Conferences- Please be expecting a separate email next week, inviting you to schedule your virtual meeting with your child(ren)'s teacher(s). While conferences are set to take place during the week of October 25th, they will be scheduled according to your classroom teacher's availability. Thank you for scheduling a time to collaborate and communicate with your child(ren)'s teacher(s). A true team effort and partnership is so important to student success!

• Early Dismissal- 11:30am on October 29th. Lunch will be offered and Extended Care will be available until 2pm.
• All Saints' Day Celebration! Start thinking Saint costumes as all of our students will be dressing up on Monday, November 1st!

Gearing Up for After School Club Offerings!

First up will be the much loved middle school offering....

Campus Ministry Club!

• Students in Grades 6-8 are invited to engage in some faith-filled fun on Friday, October 22nd from 3-4:30pm with Mr. Jay Hamel, school parent and SFX parishioner. Pumpkin launching and an Incredible Shot opportunity will be the highlights of the meeting! (regular extended care fees will apply) .

Health Office:

• Just a friendly reminder that "If in Doubt, Keep Kids Out!" Recently we have seen an uptick in sickness throughout the school. If your child is not feeling well, please keep them home and call the school to report their absence and speak to the school nurses with any symptoms or concerns.

• Click here for information about free COVID vaccination clinics being offered in New Bedford, but open to all.



• If your child is out sick with symptoms requiring COVID testing (see daily checklist) please be aware that school nurses are only able to accept a PCR test at this time, per the Acushnet Board of Health.

The weather has been so amazing that after school on Wednesday I approached a student sibling set and said to the boys:

"The weather is so awesome.. Should we all head to the beach after school today?"

The eldest replied:

"No way! I have way too much homework!

I have to conduct an interview!"
