SPRING HAS SPRUNG, WE BID ADIEU TO TRIMESTER 2, EXPLORING ENERGY IN GRADE 7,
"YES WE CAN" &
THE ANGEL OF THE LORD DECLARED UNTO MARY!
While Spring has officially sprung, we are waiting patiently for the month of March to "go out like a lamb"! The inconsistency of the weather has been interesting this week with gorgeous sunshine, then chilly temps, added to the wind and rain...very much like a fierce lion.
In addition to the varied weather, this week also brought with it an all time student favorite... report card distribution! Our second trimester is officially behind us, and our students have demonstrated great growth and solid academic achievement.
We have much to be proud of! Report cards were sent electronically this past Monday, March 21st. If for some reason you did not receive your child(ren)'s report(s), please check your spam folder, and then call the school office if still unable to locate.
This past week, our seventh graders demonstrated a great deal of excitement for energy! EXPLORE Station Labs had students experimenting with potential and kinetic energy...
and it was fun!
This week’s NJHS almsgiving opportunity has benefitted Damien’s Pantry in Wareham. Cans “rolled in” nicely (along with numerous other non-perishables) and the shelves at Damien’s will be well stocked due to the efforts and generosity of our school community.
Our Lenten prayer life was enhanced this week with an 8th grade representation at the annual Pro Life Mass celebrated by Bishop DaCunha at St. Julie's in Dartmouth and a school rosary while we "tuned in" to Pope Francis' consecration of Russia and Ukraine to the Immaculate Heart of Mary... Our Lady Queen of Peace, pray for us.
God Bless & Have a Great Weekend!
