HAPPY FEAST OF ST. FRANCIS XAVIER!

We are REBELS for CHRIST.

Click here for more Frankie photos!

Our students and staff were greeted after the Thanksgiving reprieve with a shift in liturgical theme decor. Our amazing preschool teachers created a huge Advent wreath in the main stairwell, created using traced hands of all of our students. The lit candle (with paper flame of course!) draws our awareness to the HOPE found in the anticipation of the Birth of Lord and Savior. The beautiful Nativity placed so noticeably in our foyer was, of course, admired by all! We will continue to prepare our hearts and minds for Baby Jesus in our classrooms in the coming weeks... Come Lord Jesus!

Finally, our Feast Day surprise was one for the record books! A full size Frankie the Rebel greeted our students today, which made for a great opportunity to build our school spirit (and to take great photos!). Please check out our school FB page to see our Feast Day Festivities. Thank you for your continued support and prayers for our school!

St. Francis Xavier, pray for us!

Enjoy the weekend with your families.

Advent Families 2021

Our National Junior Honor Society have "taken the reins" on our annual tradition of adopting families-in-need. Our students are praying for their assigned family, as well as collecting gift cards (grocery/pharmacy/Walmart/Target) to assist them in their time of need this Christmas season. Thank you in advance for your support and generosity.. this rewarding opportunity to give to those less fortunate than ourselves is a great lesson for our children this Christmas!

WHO"S COMING THIS WEEKEND?

St. Nicholas of course!

Our students' shoes have lined the hallways as we await our annual visit from St. Nicholas! This school tradition is a wonderful "memory maker", as we celebrate the feast day of the saint we have to thank for the tradition of giving at Christmas. Click here for more information on the Feast of St. Nicholas to share with your families!

Fly on the Wall

Father Jack Schrader, Parochial Administrator of St. John Neumann Parish in East Freetown, ( & friend of Father Ryan's!) visited our school on Monday of this week. Fr. Jack made it a point to visit the classrooms of his parishioners, and upon entering the 4th grade classroom the following ensued:

Student: "Hey, I know him! He's my priest!"

Mrs. Coady: "Would you like to come and introduce him to the class?"

Student: "Of course!"

"This is Father Jack... he is the priest at my church, St. John Neumann. He is very tall, and is a good preacher."
