THE STORM BEFORE THE CALM?!?

Prayers Answered for Grade 8

The midweek storm was quite a source of stress for many, and we are grateful that everyone fared well. Prayers for those who are still without power, that it gets restored soon!

Our Grade 8 students, while praying fervently for good weather for their Friday evening event, never intended for a huge storm to come before the calm weather evening we are expecting! Today's highlights for Grade 8 included meeting their buddies, and of course, party planning!

Please make note, as mentioned in last night's correspondence, this evening's Halloween Family Dance is going to be very well attended! It is absolutely imperative that you keep an eye on your own children at all times, and encourage good behavior and safe choices.

We are grateful, thankful, and truly blessed.

Enjoy the weekend with your families.

Altar of the Dead 2016.JPG

Tuesday, November 2nd is

All Souls Day

An Altar of Remembrance will be created in the main lobby and in a very special way we will remember and pray for the souls of the faithfully departed loved ones of our school families, as well as alumni of SFX school throughout the month of November.

Added to the altar this year will be two more amazing SFX dedicated individuals who have passed away in the past year, Mrs. Ledoux and Mr. D.

Please click here, to send along the names of any family members, as well as any deceased alumni that you may know of (along with their graduation year), so that we can join our hearts in prayer for them during Adoration on Tuesday as well as throughout the month!

COVID Notification Change

As of November 1st, all of the schools in the Diocese of Fall River will be reporting confirmed positive COVID-19 cases to their school families on a weekly basis. Our school will provide this weekly summary to our school families each week via the school newsletter.

Please note that the parents of any student that is identified as a close contact related to a positive COVID-19 case will be notified by the school nurse IMMEDIATELY (as soon as the determination has been made) to review the various options that the student may have related to quarantine period and required testing. If you have not been notified that your child is a close contact prior to the release of the weekly summary of identified positive COVID-19 cases, there is no need to be concerned about this probability.

As always, our school will continue to take all necessary precautions to keep students, families and staff safe and healthy but we need the cooperation from all families when students are not in school. We also ask for your consideration to respect the privacy of the individual(s) involved.

  • Also, PLEASE remember that if your child(ren) is displaying signs/symptoms of COVID -19 OR if is awaiting test results, PLEASE do not send them to school!

Fly on the Wall

A rather fun and educational experience took place today in Grade 4, centered around Bob Ross. As "Bob" walked down the hallway, a preschooler was heard saying:

"That looks like Bob Ross... he's on my grandma's TV!"
