Throughout the month of December Lakeland District has been highlighting some of the exceptional volunteers we have across the district during the Lakeland District December Volunteer Recognition Social Media Blast!

The Value of Volunteering is immeasurable; however, many benefits of volunteering include building confidence, competence, connections, and community. It also serves as a portal to the social and economic value for organizations, neighbourhoods, businesses, society-at-large and to volunteers themselves. (Volunteer Canada)
