Save the Date for the 2023 Spring Symposium

SPRA is excited to announce the 2023 Spring Symposium will be held in-person in the city of Humboldt on April 24-27, 2023!

An exciting slate of 18 training sessions are planned for this year in six streams. Arena Operator Level 2 will also be offered on April 23, before the Symposium.

More detailed course and registration information is coming soon. Don’t miss this opportunity to reconnect with your colleagues in the recreation industry.

Virtual Forever...in motion Leader Training

Forever...in motion is an initiative that helps older adults become physically active through volunteer led physical activity groups. If you are an older adult who believes in the benefits of physical activity, are active and enjoy helping others, volunteer as a Leader!

We can help you enhance and develop your skills in leading a physical activity class for your peers. This training is open to new Leaders or existing Leaders looking for a refresher opportunity!

S.A.R.P.'s Mentorship Program

It's baaaack!

S.A.R.P. is excited to announce the return of the Mentorship Program!

S.A.R.P.'s Mentorship Program matches Professional and Student members for a 5-month program.

The goal of the program is to match students with mentors who are employed in an area of recreation services chosen by the student. The main focus for this program is the career development for the mentor as well as career awareness for the student.
