A SPECIAL GUEST,

CYO TEAMS PUT TO THE TEST!

A HAPPY (& GREEN) ENDING TO THE

SHORT WEEK!

We were so blessed and truly honored to be able to welcome Fr. Roger Landry to our school this past week.

Father Landry was "home again" in the Diocese for a visit and a "tour" of various schools and parishes, speaking on the Eucharistic Revival that is currently taking place worldwide. Our Grades 4-8 students were attentive and interested to listen to Father Landry speak about the Eucharist, focusing specifically on various miracles and honing in on the great love that the saints demonstrated for the Eucharist. First hand relics of St. Manuel Gonzalez Garcia, and Bl. Carlo Acutis accompanied Father Landry on his visit, and Father took the time to highlight the lives of these two great saints, including their deep love and devotion to Our Lord present in the Eucharist. Students and teachers alike had the wonderful opportunity to take their prayer intentions to St. Martin and Bl. Carlo, as they approached and venerated the two relics. Our teachers were also quite pleased to have the opportunity to meet the man behind the brilliance of Plan for Life, a book written by Father Landry and given to the entire faculty at the onset of the school year by Father Ryan, to assist us in improving our lives and spiritual journey through prayer.

God is good! Thank you for a wonderful visit, Father Landry.

Class pictures are always an experience and benchmark for our teachers and students, as we have passed the halfway mark of the school year! Uniforms are pristine, hair is in place, and as we look through the lens of the camera (and eventually see the pictures in hard copy), we realize the growth that has taken place this school year. Physical growth, certainly, but also the academic and social growth that takes place during the school year begins to become evident in the faces and smiles of our students.

Our CYO season has officially come to an end and we have so MUCH to be proud of! We are thrilled with our teams performances as all three teams qualified for the finals! This week's games were awesome, as our Boys & Girls A teams took first place and Boys C took second! Congratulations are certainly in order, as well as a huge thank you to our coaches. What a great season!

As a great ending to our shortened week, we represented the Irish in true form and fashion with our annual "Wearin' of the Green"! EVERYONE was Irish today, as our entire faculty and students happily wore green to celebrate the Feast of St. Patrick!

Have a wonderful long weekend and God bless!

STEM CLUB STILL GOING STRONG... Let's hope these projects are too!

This week students worked in pairs and used an assortment of supplies (of which they could only pick ten items from) to create a project to protect an egg from a drop. Next week they will have an additional 10 minutes to complete their projects, before they are taken outside to be dropped from the roof!

Whose eggs will survive??

THANK YOU, MR. SOUZA!
