A GRAND START TO THE WEEK...
& A FANTASTIC FINISH!
Our Grandparents Day Celebration 2022 was one for the record books! An amazing time was had by all who attended and our K-2 students could not have been more joyful to see their grandparents in their school! They danced, they played BINGO, they had their pictures taken and they simply enjoyed being together! A million thank yous to our School Events Committee, and more specifically Shannon Kearney, Bethany Gardner, Becky Carvalho, Michelle Michaud & of course Laura Guenette, for delivering an amazing experience to our school community! We have missed gathering in this way... God is so good!
With the exception of a few makeups and finish ups, our fall MAP Growth Testing is nearly complete. Our teachers look forward to evaluating results at this coming week's 1/2 day PD Day. The wealth of data that is obtained from this standardized test will be used to celebrate student strengths as well as address areas of weakness. Students will also be engaging in the process of goal setting in order to be invested in individual improvements.
Having 25 middle school students choose to stick around on a Friday afternoon for some Faith-filled Fun with Mr. Hamel for the first CMC (Campus Ministry Club) meeting and participate in Color Wars was an exciting and inspiring!
A final highlight of the week was the introduction of our new Young World Art Teacher, Mrs. Lisa Hansel. Mrs. Hansel has her Master of Arts in Art and Design Education and many years of teaching experience. She is an accomplished artist as well! We welcome Mrs. Hansel to our school community!
Have a nice weekend.
