MAUNDY THURSDAY EVENING'S NEWSLETTER &

PICS OF THE WEEK!

EXPLORING PALMS,

A FINAL OFFERING OF ALMS,

A PRAYERFUL NEXT FEW DAYS

OUR DEBT THAT HE PAYS...

This short week went quickly!

Monday began with many of our classes discussing the events of Palm Sunday. Revisiting the readings, sharing the story of Jesus' triumphant entry into Jerusalem, and waving palm branches in classrooms were just a few of the lessons that were happening in classes. For Small Wonders, Palm Sunday also became a Math activity, as students measured the length of palm branches using unifix cubes!

Thanks once again to our National Junior Honor Society, who helped our school community to keep the giving of alms at the forefront of our Lenten journey. Today's final delivery of items to the Dartmouth Humane Society will certainly make many furry friends happy, as they await their forever homes. Thank you again for instilling the virtue of generosity with your children this Lent through our almsgiving opportunities.

It was certainly hard to resist the birds eye view (taken from second floor classroom!) of our PreK 4 classes praying the Sorrowful Mysteries of the Rosary! The students' voices quite literally sounded angelic, as they together they recited the prayers and followed Jesus in carrying His cross to Calvary.

Theology lessons across all grade levels this week were certainly synced to move through (and learn more about!) the Triduum, and an amazing finale to our short week, we were able to pray the Stations of the Cross together as a school family... at the church!

Have a wonderfully prayerful Triduum with your families.

One more four-day week ahead of us, before our April reprieve !

Have a wonderful long weekend & God bless!

See you after the Resurrection!

CINDERELLA

The Bishop Stang Theatre Company will proudly present Rodgers and Hammerstein's Cinderella on Thursday, April 27; Friday, April 28; and Saturday, April 29; all at 7:00 pm. General Admission - $12; Student/Senior - $10. This original version aired on television in 1957 starring Julie Andrews and later in 1965 starring Lesley Ann Warren. The classic music from this production includes "Ten Minutes Ago," "Impossible," and "In My Own Little Corner." The performances will truly transport the audience into this classic fairy tale. The cast and crew of Cinderella are working hard to make this production a must see performance, appropriate for children of all ages. See the attached free admission pass for students from a Diocese of Fall River Catholic Elementary School.

The Bishop Stang Theatre Company will also present a special event for children ages 3-12; "Bibbidi Bobbidi Bishop Stang" on Saturday, April 29 from 12:00 pm - 2:00 pm.

Admission - $10 per child (parents enter for free). Cash or check payment will be accepted at the door.

Inspired by the popular Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique, the school gym will be transformed into a charming place where children can experience being a prince or princess for the afternoon! Starting at noon, children will see a preview of the show, take pictures with Cinderella, Prince Charming and the cast, get their hair and nails done, fence (with foam "swords") and play horseshoes with Prince Charming. Children may come dressed up as their favorite prince or princess! Sweet treats will be provided. It will truly be a day out of a fairy tale!
