PIC OF THE WEEK!

 HOLA & ADEUS!

OUR LANGUAGE LAB IS UP AND RUNNING!

We have officially completed our first full week of school and it has been a wonderfully exhausting week! From school pictures to the introduction of our new gym teacher and from the start of MAP testing to our Language Lab for all students, we are truly operating on all cylinders!

Young World employee Miss Jamelah Foster has joined our school community to provide PE instruction to our students. Miss Foster had a great first couple of days at St. Francis. Our students were thrilled to welcome her to our school community and equally as thrilled to get their bodies moving!

We also had a visit from the Maronite Sisters this week, who spent time with our students, prayerfully guiding them during Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament. Putting Christ at the center of all that we do will carry us through this school year!

Have a nice weekend.

Thank you!

MAP Growth Testing will continue this coming week, for Grades 3-8.

Please make certain students are present, well fed, and ready to do their best!

Auditions have been completed and the cast of characters has been announced for our school production of

The Wizard of Oz!

Please click here to view the cast list, and here to access the rehearsal schedule. It should come as no surprise that there exists MUCH TALENT here at St. Francis, and the decisions were not easy ones!

Looking forward to seeing our students shine in this way!

As mentioned at Back to School Night, our after school clubs depend upon the gifts, talents and time available of our parents and staff!

Mr. Nate Souza, (father of Alex (3) & Nicholas (1)) has offered to run an after school Chess Club for students in Grades 3-8 on Tuesday afternoons. Beginning with instructional sessions and eventually transitioning to chess matches is the ultimate goal of the program.

Mr. Souza will differentiate the program based on students' knowledge of the game.... program begins Tuesday, September 27th from 2:45-3:45pm in the STEM Lab. Click here to let us know that your child is interested in participating.

The only cost for this program is the one hour of Extended Care.

Middle School Campus Ministry Club (CMC) will begin next Friday under the direction of Mr. Jay Hamel. Students in Grades 6-8 are welcome to participate in Friday monthly meetings that balance our faith with fun! Please click here to view the activity that Mr. Hamel has planned for next Friday, September 23rd! CMC will run from 3:00-4:30pm.

Click here to sign your child up for the fun!

Thank you for the great response we had to the "say yes to one" volunteer campaign!  Your willingness to help is wonderful.  Please be expecting to hear from the SEC in the near future to take you up on your offers to assist us!

Monday, September 19th K-2 Grandparents are welcome to join us for Holy Mass at 9am and then head to the school for a special gathering which will take place from 10-11:30am in the gymnasium...

It's sure to be a grand old time!

Our first SEC meeting of the school year was exciting! There is LOTS of energy behind socializing once again, and plans are moving forward for a Harvest fest this fall!

More details coming soon.... .but please
