FRIDAY EVENING'S NEWSLETTER &

PICS OF THE WEEK!

A TRIP TO THE PARK,

A SPIRITUAL SPARK,

CROWNING OF QUEEN

& HANGING ROUTINE!

As our days and weeks become more "numbered" teachers and students are "cashing in" on end of year experiences and incentives! This week our kindergarteners celebrated great behavior in the month of April by selecting a Play Clothes and Pope Park outing!

Numerous classes still have class incentives from our Boostherthon fundraiser that they are counting on... stay tuned!

Of course this week we also celebrated Holy Mass on Thursday for the Feast of the Ascension! Father Ryan reminded us all that Jesus' Ascension is the greatest sign of hope, as He prepares for us a place in heaven! The celebration of Holy Mass was followed by the beautiful ritual of crowning Our Lady of Fatima statue, honoring Mary as Queen of Heaven and Mother of God. Our second graders have the honor of crowning Our Lady, and the newest First Communicants were able to show off their "sacramental best". Flowers were offered to Mary, a decade was prayed, and together we sang Immaculate Mary to honor Our Blessed Mother!

We know the end of the school year is nigh, when our students are looking taller, older and even wiser. A sense of confidence and accomplishment is becoming evident amidst our student body. One example of this would be our kindergarten girls, who have taken a great liking to the monkey bars, constantly showing me all that they can do! At the beginning of the school year, monkey bars are off limits for kindergarteners... talk about growth!

Please keep an eye on the Dates to Know About section of the newsletter to stay informed of all of the various happenings that will lead us to the end of the school year...

the month of May is whizzing by!
