Ask your child when the Christmas season officially ends, and the answer should be the Baptism of Our Lord!
This Sunday, January 10th, we officially "close the book" on Christmas 2020. With joyful hearts we thank our good and gracious God for the gift of His Son...
the greatest gift of all!
Come Pray for Our Country on Monday!
The events of this past week in our nation's Capital were nothing like any of us has ever seen.
As our response as a community of faith, St. Francis Xavier Church is having a special day of prayer on Monday, January 11th.
From 9:30 a.m. until 6:30 p.m. the Blessed Sacrament will be present in the main church to allow for communal, socially-distanced prayer
Please plan on stopping by the church at any point on Monday, or consider bringing your child for a quick prayer after pickup on your way home from school to teach them the importance of prayer for our country.
Peace I leave with you; my peace I give to you. Not as the world gives do I give it to you. Do not let your hearts be troubled or afraid. (Jn. 14:27)
The winter testing session for our
MAP Growth assessment will begin next week with our K-3 students.
Have no fear!
If taking the test remotely becomes problematic (based on child's age, performance at home, technical difficulties, etc.) we are extremely flexible in getting our students tested.
Thank you!
Re-enrollment of our current families will be starting soon!
More details to follow regarding the securing of a seat(s) for the 2021-2022 school year!
In honor of and to raise awareness about this great leader, students (and faculty!) may come to school in their cozy, winter PJ's (no slippers, please!) on Friday, January 15th as a part of our annual and well loved ration "I Have a Dream Day". Students will reflect on the legacy of Martin Luther King Jr. in a special way next Friday, before the long, holiday weekend!
Our wonderful School Events Committee has graciously accepted the invitation to assist with making CSW 2021 memorable in the midst of very different times. After Monday evening's meeting, the committee has a "few tricks up their sleeves" and plan to help to make this special week for our school community a fun one!
Stay tuned for more details, or if you are interested in helping out in some way, please reach out to Laura Guenette @ lauraglmhc@gmail.com

A decision made based on choices to gather with others, or simply as a precaution in these days of rising COVID-19 cases.
