Closing the door on September!

Today officially marks our 5th Friday of the school year, and we could not be more proud! The consistent cleaning, the mask wearing, the difficult social distancing, and the daily self health checks at home are all contributing factors to our success thus far! Thank you for your continued vigilance in adhering to all precautionary measures to keep our school community healthy, and please continue to limit your weekend gatherings.

MAP Growth testing is just about wrapping up and with those test results, teachers will begin the process of looking at the data through the lens of a beginning of the school year benchmark. All MAP Growth information will be shared with you during virtual parent/teacher conferences, which will take place during the week of October 26th.

Review of K-8 Pick-up times:

Thank you for your support and patience as we continue to make dismissal both efficient and safe!

Please help us to avoid backing up onto Main Street at dismissal time (which disrupts local traffic) by not arriving too early and adhering to the staggered pick-up times as much as possible:

Cars picking up multiple siblings (K-8) should arrive to enter the roundabout between 2:20pm and 2:30pm.
Cars of individual students in K-4 should arrive to enter the roundabout between 2:30pm and 2:40pm
Cars of individual students in 5-8 should arrive to enter the roundabout at 2:40pm.

The month of October is dedicated to the Most Holy Rosary of the Blessed Virgin Mary. Our students will be praying our traditional Decade-a-Day, for the health and wellness of our school community.... Perhaps a decade could be prayed at home as a family as well!

Breakfast this year is a "Grab and Go" process, and students who wish to have breakfast will take it with them at the end of the school day, for consumption at home the following day!

It certainly was a ....

From a major downpour and high winds at arrival, to Wifi and Internet challenges, and from a power outage to a bubbler flooding, Wednesday was certainly a wild ride!

A huge thank you goes to all of our remote learners and their families for their patience and perseverance as we continue to be faced with challenges, and embrace the unexpected!

The School Events Committee is an organization in which all parents automatically belong! Responsibilities of the committee include creating fun and social activities while fundraising for our school! This year's challenging times will require creative and thoughtful planning in order to engage our school families in a meaningful and productive way!

All parents welcome to join in our first meeting of the school year!
