Last week's announcement of the transfer of Father Williams has become a bittersweet reality for our school community. While we look forward to welcoming Father Healy to our school (and did this past week!), we acknowledge that the departure of Father Williams will be difficult for all of us! His four years of leadership have been a wonderful and joy filled journey for our students, faculty and families....he will be sorely missed!

This upcoming week our 8th graders will take their final examinations, practice for their Baccalaureate Mass and Graduation ceremonies, participate in a mini-retreat, and enjoy a field trip on the Cape with Father Williams. Our future alumni will also engage in a much loved and touching tradition of taking their final walk through the St. Francis hallways in their graduation gowns, as all of our younger students line the hallways to cheer for their accomplishments, as well as their future endeavors!

Please keep the Class of 2021 in your prayers as they complete their final days, and all of the wonderfully meaningful "finale moments" in their journey at St. Francis.

Gala Auction Item 2020!
Gym Teacher for the Day... an awesome experience! What kid does not want to spend the day, or at least half of the day with Mr.Amaro?? Thomas and Olivia Buss divided and conquered the gym classes this week, as they planned with Mr. Amaro before executing great lessons on Wednesday!

GALA SAVE THE DATE!
WE ARE "GOING FOR IT"!
With guidelines and restrictions being lifted, it has been decided that we will be planning for an August in-person Gala!
The energy and enthusiasm that has been evident throughout this amazingly different, yet wonderful school year, will continue through the summer months as we plan to "Glow in the Dark"
on Thursday, August 12th
at the Century House!
Many hands will make light work, so please click here to express your willingness to volunteer to help with this event!

MIDDLE SCHOOL NIGHT
POSTPONED!

Due to holiday weekend, limited interest, as well as the threat of rain in this evening's forecast, we have decided to "bump out" the middle school movie night until June 4th!
Thank you for your patience and understanding!
We are just three days into the program, and are already over 62% registered on funrun.com!

As of today, students have earned a
Dress Down Day,
that we will be using on
Tuesday, June 1st!

And the incentive for 80% registration?
*Run The School Like A Rebel: The name of each registered student will be placed in a raffle, and 5 names will be selected. These 5 students will "run" the school for a day, as they will get to make various choices on how the day will look!
Our MAP Growth Spring Testing Session Window is CLOSED!

Reports to be printed soon and will be sent home to our school families... We are SO PROUD of our students' efforts and accomplishments!

Panels have been carefully placed into position and will be affixed to the roof in the coming weeks.

Today's NJHS fundraiser to benefit the Buzzards Bay Coalition was a huge hit! Raffle winners took a walk on the back Nature Trail with Father Williams! Funds generated today will be donated on behalf of the school in gratitude for the outdoor learning space (in pandemic times especially) and for upkeep of the LaPalme Farm trail!
