Blessings from the Week......

A Gorgeous Day for an Outdoor School Mass for the

Solemnity of the Ascension of Our Lord

I believe it is safe to say that this week's highlight was our ability to attend Holy Mass on the Feast of the Ascension! The gorgeous day was the perfect backdrop for the celebration of the Eucharist, and our students' reverent, respectful, and prayerful participation in the Mass was noticeable!

Immediately following Mass, our second graders continued the annual and traditional Crowning of Mary. Students processed to the Statue of Our Lady of Fatima, to adorn Her head with a crown of flowers and then led our school community in a decade of the rosary.

It was a beautiful day!

On the academic front, our middle school students have finished their MAP testing, and classes are completing culminating projects, as we press on through the next five weeks!

The school tradition of having our second graders do the honor of Crowning Our Blessed Mother took place on the Feast of Our Lady of Fatima this year!

Penny Wars for the Win!

Our first time ever Penny Wars Fun-draiser that took place during our Resurrected Catholic Schools Week this year was completely "out of control"! Students and families put every penny and coin that they could muster up, into winning (and preventing others from winning) our first ever Penny Wars! The fundraiser generated close to $3,000, which was split between our School Events Committee and our Eighth Grade Class. This year's Penny Wars winner was Grade 4 and today the class enjoyed (I hope!) having Mrs. Russo as a substitute teacher, while Miss Cournoyer enjoyed a well deserved day off!

Grade One Book Launch!

Our First Grade class has a wonderful, annual tradition of becoming authors! This year's book, entitled. What will the Clouds Bring Today was dedicated to our amazing school nurses! This gesture of gratitude for keeping us all safe and healthy this school year was appropriately timed with SCHOOL NURSES' APPRECIATION DAY!

Thank you Mrs. Manning and Mrs. Duarte for your tireless efforts this school year, ...and thank you, Mrs. Martel for keeping this tradition alive!

The End of the School Year on the Horizon....

While the end is in sight, we have a ways to go before we get there!

Our MAP Growth Spring Testing Session Window will continue next week with our Kindergarten through Grade 2 students! Please make sure that students are rested, ready and nourished in order to perform their personal best!

FINISH LINE IN SIGHT!

Our 8th graders are gearing up for a strong finish to their SFX experience! Before the fun ensues, finals come first! The Class of 2021 will take their final exams the week of June 1st!

Please keep our future graduates, and all of our students in your prayers!

- Last day for grocery card orders will be 5/26. We will not be placing any more orders for inventory so we appreciate your understanding if orders are filled with smaller denomination cards as we dwindle down.

- Family Fundraising Statements will be sent out in Friday folders the first week of June.
