Thanksgiving Restriction Reminders
Any time you’re near people you don’t live with:
-
Wear a mask when not eating or drinking
- Wash your hands often with soap and water
- Stay at least six feet apart from others
- Consider if those around you may be at higher risk of severe illness from COVID-19, such as older adults or those with certain medical conditions, and take extra precautions
- If gathering indoors, improve ventilation by opening windows and doors
Testing and Traveling Guidelines
The COVID-19 PCR test is the most accurate test for identifying a current COVID-19 infection. It may take up to a week to receive results depending on the demand for testing at the testing location.
If you are traveling out of state, you must receive a negative COVID-19 PCR test or quarantine as stated in the guidance within 72 hours of your arrival back to Massachusetts; we cannot accept antigen test results.
Even if a negative result is received travelers should continue to monitor themselves for symptoms for 14 days; if symptoms develop during this period the individual should stay home and get retested.

Evaluating your child's health after the holiday.....
If in doubt.... Please stay out!
Remote learning is always an option!

Please note that all students will be required to have the Flu Vaccine by December 31st! To date, 38% of our student population have already received their flu shots! WELL DONE! Documented proof of the immunization is necessary, as we will hold those files on record for our reference.
Get your child(ren) immunized early, in order to adhere to the mandate!
THANK YOU!

LOOKING AHEAD TO CHRISTMAS....
Please see the following letter sent out by the Catholic Schools Office pertaining to our upcoming Christmas break. In order to create a "time buffer" for the health and wellness of our school community, as well as to celebrate the hard work of our staff and students, our administrative team has decided to adjust our Master Calendar to reflect a full two week vacation at Christmas, with our final day before Christmas being Friday, December 18th. We thank you for your understanding as we make decisions based on the needs of our school community.

Advent Families 2020
Our annual tradition of adopting families-in-need will continue this year! Upon our return to school, we will learn of families who need support and will pray for them, as well as collect gift cards (grocery/pharmacy/Walmart/Target) to assist them in their time of need this Christmas season. Thank you in advance for your support and generosity.. this rewarding opportunity to give to those less fortunate than ourselves is a great lesson for our children this Christmas!

This past week, the Foundation to Advance Catholic Education (FACE) sent out an initial communication to all current scholarship recipients regarding the scholarship process for the 2021-22 school year. The deadline for applying for a FACE scholarship is March 5, 2021. While it may be a bit early for some families to start thinking about the next school year, it is worth noting that 2020 tax documents are required to complete an application - and the current COVID pandemic may complicate tax filing.
The amount available for scholarships depends upon the amount of donations received by FACE. Thus, it is so important for families to apply early to ensure their application is reviewed when funding is available.

Thank you for using our Extended Care program.
At this point in the school year, we have a pretty good sense of your consistent Extended Care needs and usage.
Pre-reservations will no longer be necessary, as we are never filled to capacity. Please continue to use the program for your child care needs, on the days that you desire!
Thank you!
** Please note that Extended Care invoices will continue to be sent every other Friday in the "Go Green" Friday Folder!
Thoughts, concerns?
Please contact the school office.
