RE-REGISTRATION INFORMATION
A year ago, when re-enrollment for the 2020-21 school year commenced, we would have never thought that being “in school” could be so complicated but so necessary. With the first half of this school year completed, once again, we are preparing for the next academic year – 2021-22.
While we are still unsure what “school” will look like in the fall of 2021, what we do know is that the re-enrollment process will take on a different sense of urgency. You may be aware that many new families are interested in joining our school community, as we continue to experience the largest wait list we have had in many years. While this is a wonderful problem to have, it requires us to ask families to re-enroll their child or children earlier than in previous years or risk losing your child’s “seat” in next year’s class.
Our commitment remains with serving our families and we want to be sure every family has the opportunity to continue sending their child to our wonderful school! During Catholic Schools Week, we will be asking our current families to "SAVE THEIR SEAT" and 'RESERVE THEIR SPOT" for the 2021-2022 school year.
We are called to be disciples of Christ!

A Catholic Schools Week School Events Committee Sponsored Initiative!
In an effort to host an "event" and still raise necessary funds for our school, our SEC is hosting a Read-A- Thon during CSW!

This school wide activity will promote the culture of academic excellence that our school community takes great pride and continued investment in!

Details for participation (which is highly encouraged and rather expected ;)) was sent home in Friday folders today for PK- Grade 8 and more information and trackers found in the Google Classroom for Grades 3-8!

Thank you in advance for taking the time to help us raise funds for our school while promoting the importance of reading!
Under more "normal" circumstances, our school doors would have been "propped wide open" to welcome our school families to the building to help us to celebrate our school!

Invitations to attend Holy Mass, to stop by our annual Open House, and to attend the amazing assemblies will unfortunately not be part of this year's Catholic Schools Week.

How can we have our families present in our building, when they cannot technically be present in the building??

FAMILY SELFIES, OF COURSE!

Please send a family selfie (or family picture) to info@sfxacushnet.com to be included in a wonderful SFX families display!
Thank you for your participation... it would be fantastic to have as many families "be present" for CSW as possible!

A Message from the
Health Office

  • Schools were recently notified by the Department of Elementary and Secondary Education (DESE) that the Department of Public Health (DPH) has removed the mandate requiring flu vaccines for Massachusetts students at this time. The DPH continues to strongly recommend that everyone age six months and older receive their seasonal flu vaccine each year, however it is no longer a requirement. That being said, we are certainly proud of the fact that 86% of our school community responded to the mandate and were compliant to the request of the state.
  • With February break just a few short weeks away, PLEASE consider our school community as you make any plans that could potentially affect our classes and students! Plans to travel should be made known to our school nurses, so they can advise on reentry after the vacation. Thank you for your continued compliance to health and safety protocols!
  • Please, please, please! If ANY MEMBER OF YOUR IMMEDIATE HOUSEHOLD IS ILL, DO NOT SEND YOUR CHILD(REN) TO SCHOOL! We are only as good as the sum of our parts!
