Good day to ALL!
President Shelly called our meeting to order
Invocation: Lois led us all in a song: This little light of mine....As we are all acting as one in sharing our light with the world.
SUNSHINE: Prayers and positive thoughts go out today for Hellen's son Prince for healing, Dea (one of our "S" Club girls) for healing and Abby for patience, understanding and a Happy Birthday!
Today was our monthly Business Meeting. Margie read a thank you from Kiwanis Club for our contribution to their "Coats for Kids" program. They gave out over 155 coats to the middle and high school students in need, 196 coats to the elementary school, 2 pairs of socks to every coat recipient and almost 40 pairs of snow pants. Such a big need they fill in our community. We are happy to help.
Our Mad Hatter Tea Party tickets are already half sold. The decorations committee is in full swing and a publicity meeting will be held next week. For information call Paula. Food service, aka Jeanne P, needs 1 more prep-cook and 4 more cooks the day of the event. Call Jeanne to add your name to the list.
This year we are doing the Tea party one month later and anticipate great weather. Lots of fun ideas for outdoor activities and photo booths are flying around.

Wendy reported that due to rising costs at the Senior Center we will be moving our regular weekly meetings to the Rec Center, next door, in the Aspen Room. This will start April 1st. Our large meetings and parties will still take place at the Senior Center.
Wendy received a ROSE (Recognition of Soroptimist Excellence) for her help in negotiating the financial and logistical issues with the Senior Center and the Rec. Center. It's good to have a smart woman to help our club.
Amy also received a ROSE for her amazing contributions as art and decorations Chair.
Shelly's SALT moment involved playing "Telephone" with a phrase indicated proper protocol at Soroptimist events. We did pretty well!!
