“I feel grateful for the opportunity to touch [the older adults’] lives in such a meaningful way. It reignites my passion for serving older adults in our community.” – Beverly Ito
Keiro interviewed Beverly Ito, a long-time staff member who returned to work for Keiro in September of 2021. She shared her experience caring for residents throughout and now beyond the August 2021 closure of Sakura ICF. Nearing the one-year mark, we asked Beverly why she remains committed to caring for older adults, and how she hopes to continue supporting residents into the future.

As we make our return to in-person programs for the community, we will take a short break in August to restructure our current programs.

Keiro is preparing to present newly reimagined educational programming for older adults focused on five elements of quality of life. We look forward to sharing these exciting changes to our in-person and virtual programs that will launch in September.

Stay tuned for more information!
