Keiro no Hi Festival!
Here's what's happening on September 16, 2018!

Location: JACCC Plaza (244 S. San Pedro St., Los Angeles, CA 90012)

Keiro and Japanese American Cultural & Community Center are proud to host our inaugural Keiro no Hi Festival. This free public event celebrates the lives of our community’s older adults. 

Complimentary transportation from four locations in Los Angeles and Orange counties are available to everyone with registration. A hosted bento lunch will be provided to older adults 65 and above upon registration as well.

Iyashi Care Health Fair
Stop by the Iyashi Care health fair for assistance with advance directives and pharmaceutical consultations!

ADVANCE DIRECTIVE TABLE
  • Come learn why advance directives are so important for you
  • Notaries will be present to sign

PHARMACIST TABLE
  • Bring your list of medications to get answers on side effects and any questions you may have!

Why are these two relevant to you?
Calligraphy Workshop and Exhibition
Kuni will lead an interactive calligraphy workshop along with an exhibition of artwork done by older adults!

Calligraphy Artist Kuniharu Yoshida taught older adults how to express themselves through the paper and brush this summer.

He will provide a similar space at the event for you to enjoy art.

Vendor Fair and Food Trucks!
A vendor fair and food trucks will be available during the event. Visit our website for updated information!

Keiro Conference: Aging into Tomorrow
An innovative approach to the aging process

Keiro 2018 Grants Cycle Application
Deadline is Friday, August 31, 2018
 
Keiro's 2018 Grants cycle is now accepting applications! The 2018 Grants Cycle will focus on programs that reduce social isolation. The final deadline for submission is 5 p.m. on August 31. Contact grants@keiro.org if you have any questions.
