A Message from Keiro’s President & CEO

The new year is always a time for thoughtful reflection on the past and renewed resolve to forge a brighter future. As I take on my new role, I am excited to leap into the year! We look forward to continuing to reconnect with you in person to offer aging services through our collaborations and partnerships, as well as programs to help older adults and caregivers live healthier and more fulfilling lives, wherever they call home.

Registration is NOW OPEN for the Caregiver Conference at Wintersburg Presbyterian Church! Registration will close on Friday, February 24. Registration is required to attend. Capacity will be limited, and on a first-come, first-served basis.

Since 2006, the Nikkei Senior Network (NSN) program has brought together different community leaders who work with their older adult groups. Sue Kawasaki, president of Continuing Education for the Nikkei Widowed, shared how the NSN has been a beneficial support system for her and the group.

As older adults age, autonomy, and the ability to choose how to live life the way they want should be maintained as much as possible. One of the many areas this touches upon is our housing options. Join our February classes as we discuss autonomy in relation to what housing options are available to you!
