Conversations on Mental Health – Seeking Professional Support

But I knew that I was falling apart, and I was scared.” - Kaede The number of people seeking mental health support services offered in partnership by Keiro and Little Tokyo Service Center (LTSC) has increased due to the psychological burdens caused by the pandemic. An Important Piece to the Puzzle

"Over 20% of adults aged 60 and over suffer from a mental or neurological disorder (excluding headache disorders)" (WHO, 2017) Oftentimes, people think about aging and self-care in terms of their physical well-being. However, your mental health is just as important of a puzzle piece to your overall health. Keiro invites you to our upcoming Speaker Series, where we will discuss various approaches to mental health and how you can find ways to connect that piece of the puzzle to improve your aging experience!
