Ken-Rose Catering Heads Sponsor List For International Cup, Legends of Polo Carlos Gracida Memorial At Grand Champions
WELLINGTON, Fla.-Nov. 20, 2018--- Award-winning Ken-Rose Catering and Event Planning, serving clients for 25 years from the Treasure Coast to Miami-Dade, will cater the VIP tent for the Nov. 24th International Cup at Grand Champions Polo Club.

The International Cup game will be part of a polo doubleheader, a holiday tradition that ends the biggest week of fall polo and season at the nation's largest and most innovative polo clubs. It is the club's season-ending marquis event.

This year's International Cup will feature defending champion Team USA against Azerbaijan. This year the U.S. team will put its six-year winning streak on the line against Azerbaijan, known as the Land of Fire and Ice, and one of the most improved polo teams in the world. Recently, Azerbaijan finished runner-up to Italy in the FIP European Championship.

Last year Team USA ( Grant Ganzi, Carlitos Gracida, Julio Arellano, Mike Azzaro) defeated Brazil, 9-7, to capture the sixth annual International Cup event. Arellano was named Most Valuable Player for the third consecutive year. Since 2012, Team USA has defeated England, Chile, Mexico, South Africa and Uruguay in International Cup history.

The International Cup will be the opening game of the doubleheader, set for 1 p.m. followed by the Legends of Polo Carlos Gracida Memorial at 3:30 p.m. The memorial game continues the former 10-goaler and Hall of Famer's legacy by honoring one of the sport's greats, who died tragically in February, 2014 at age 53.

Ken-Rose Catering and Event Planning, located in Lake Worth and headed by owner Kevin Kenny, has won several awards including the Wedding Wire Couples' Choice awards for four consecutive years and Caterer of the Year for the Palm Beaches and Treasure Coast for three years.

Kenny has put together a personalized menu for the VIP tent, catering the special diet of the Azerbaijan guests. From the  beginning, the company's foundation has been based on high quality, delectable cuisine with fresh ingredients and impeccable service with outstanding attention to detail.
