Martin Luther King Jr Day: Community Food Drive and Service Event
Kennedy Middle School is participating in a town-wide food drive to collect non-perishable snack items for food-insecure families and kids in Natick to have during upcoming school vacation breaks when subsidized school meal programs are not available. All of the Natick Public Schools are participating in this drive with the goal of collecting enough items to assemble 1,000 snack bags at the Martin Luther King Jr Day Celebration at Wilson Middle School. Everyone is invited! At Kennedy, we are collecting individually packaged, single-serving applesauce and fruit cups. All donations need to be turned into the front lobby by January 17th! The 3rd Annual Connor Cup is Friday January 24th at Chase @ 4:20. The games will showcase the middle school teams back to back. The first game will be for 6-7th graders and the second game will be 8th graders. This could change depending on what we get for sign-ups. The winner of the second game will bring the "Connor Cup" to their school for bragging rights for the year. All players must be in full equipment.

Summer Conditioning Program
In registering for this program, your athletes will receive sport-specific speed and strength coaching via four, 1.5 hour sessions from four current NHS staff members and former collegiate athletes (Nicholas DiAntonio, Mike Russo, Garry Coles, and Tori Zamarra). Each session is comprised of 45 minutes of weight-training, and 45 minutes of agility and conditioning training.

The KMS yearbook is a hardcover, full-color book that will serve as a treasured keepsake for your child for years to come. Natick Parent Connections
Natick Parent Connections is for parents/caregivers of children with developmental, learning, social/emotional disabilities and other special education needs. This group is committed to providing a welcoming space for parents and caregivers to share resources/experiences, ask questions and network with other families as they work to ensure the best possible special education program for their child.

English Learner Parent Advisory Council (ELPAC)

What is the ELPAC?
ELPAC is a group for parents or guardian that work together to advise the schools and
district on matters that impact English Learners (ELs).
Who can be on the ELPAC?
ELPAC membership is voluntary and is open to all parents of students in Natick identified or previously identified as ELs from grades PK-12.
What does an ELPAC do?
●
Provides advice to the district/schools regarding English Learner Education (ELE) programs;
●
Participates in the planning and development of programs designed to improve educational opportunities for ELs;
●
Collaborates in the review of school and district improvement plans as the plans relate to ELs;
●
Reviews proposals by the district to offer new instructional programs for ELs.
