Absent/Tardy Procedures
We have seen a large increase in call-in requests to dismiss students, which requires a call into the classroom disrupting the classroom learning. We certainly understand that unexpected events will come up. However, if you have a planned dismissal for your child, the easiest and most efficient process is to have your student
bring in a written note to the office
indicating the date, time, reason for dismissal and who will be picking up. Your student will obtain a dismissal slip from the office which they will provide to their teacher, allowing them to leave the classroom at the assigned time. They will then be waiting for you in the front lobby by the visitor door. Please come into the building to pick your student up.
We are here to support your families and busy schedules while creating an environment that supports both staff and students alike. Thank you for your cooperation.
