Atlantic Sun Tournament Starts Tonight for Owls

Kennesaw State opens this year's 2024 Atlantic Sun Men's Basketball Championships as the ninth seed and will face 10th-seed Jacksonville in the first round at 7 p.m. on Monday night.

The game will be played on the campus of Eastern Kentucky, this year's top-seed, as the winner between KSU and JU will then face the Colonels on Tuesday in the quarterfinal round. Monday's game will be live streamed on ESPN+.

The Owls will be looking for their first-ever 3-0 sweep of a team during the season (Division I era), as KSU claimed an 83-79 road win at Jacksonville and a 66-61 home win. KSU has won three straight in the all-time series against the Dolphins, and four of the last five.

Monday's game will be the Owls' first game on a neutral court in the ASUN tournament since a 69-59 loss to top-seed Liberty in the 2021 tournament that was held in the UNF Arena in Jacksonville, Fla., while this will also be the Owls' first-ever post-season game in the state of Kentucky.

KSU Football Preparing for Conference USA

This Fall

2024 is here and Kennesaw State football is gearing up for its first season at the NCAA Division I Football Bowl Subdivision (FBS) level and Conference USA. The Owls continue through their offseason program in preparation for Aug. 31 and the 2024 college football campaign!

Cameron Norcross has been named the offensive line coach/run game coordinator at Kennesaw State, head football coach Brian Bohannon announced Wednesday morning. Norcross, a 20-year Division I coaching veteran, arrives at KSU with extensive experience inside the Mountain West Conference (MWC) and Southeastern Conference (SEC).

"Cameron is a great fit for our offense," said Bohannon. "His knowledge and experience will benefit our staff as we transition into Conference USA this fall."

Season ticket renewals for Kennesaw State football's first season in the Football Bowl Subdivision (FBS) and Conference USA are now open. The Owls enter only their 10th year of competition with 2024 home matchups against defending CUSA champion Liberty and bowl-winner Jacksonville State.

KSU is set to host its annual Spring Game inside Fifth Third Stadium on Friday, Apr. 19. More details surrounding the event will be announced soon. Season ticket renewals for the 2024 are now being accepted.

Spring football practice will begin March 20 and is open to the public.
