KMS Conferences 10/7/25 2:45-6:45 PM

We are excited to invite you to our upcoming Parent-Teacher Conferences on Tuesday, October 7th, from 2:45-6:45 pm. These conferences offer an opportunity to connect with your child’s teacher(s), celebrate progress, and discuss ways we can collaborate to support continued growth and success.

Conference Details:

  • 4th & 5th Grade Students: Conferences will be scheduled in advance to ensure each family has a dedicated time to meet with their child’s Homeroom teacher. Scheduling information will be communicated by each Homeroom teacher separately. Look for this information from your child's homeroom teacher this weekend or early next week.

  • 6th & 7th Grade Students: Conferences will follow an open format. Parents are welcome to drop in during the designated conference hours to meet with teachers at their convenience. Chairs will be available to you to wait outside of classrooms if there is a line to see the teacher.

Unless you have recently been in for a meeting regarding your child, we strongly encourage you to take advantage of this opportunity to partner with us in supporting your child’s education. Your involvement makes a meaningful difference in their learning experience.

Thank you for your continued support. We look forward to seeing you at conferences!

KMS UpSTANDers

UpSTANDers RISE to Bomber Beliefs at KMS

What is an UpSTANDer? - An “upstander” is a person

who acts to make positive change.

At Kenston Middle School, we are looking for students to support our R.I.S.E. Behavior Program by creating a positive school climate and inclusive culture where all students can succeed.

The PBIS Committee - with the help of teachers and staff would like to recognize students going above and beyond in their actions to create positive change and a positive climate. Students will be given UpSTANDer cards by the staff when staff members see students exemplifying one or more of the following characteristics in the middle school - Respect, Positive Attitude, Inclusive, Leadership, Engaged, Responsibility, and Safety.

We want to acknowledge our students for their good efforts and we hope students will feel a sense of pride and a connection to their school. Students should take their cards home to show their family. Also, students can choose to be entered into a weekly drawing to receive an UpSTANDer reward by scanning the QR Code on the front of their card.

Congratulations to our recent UpSTANDers

 Looking Ahead...

The October PEAK character trait is RESPECT... While defining respect may not always be consistent, there is one kid-friendly definition that is universal: treat others as you would like to be treated.

"Respect is caring or being kind to someone.

An example is if you are honest, you will be respected."

Leo Clemens, Class of 2034
