Rose Paving LLC Project

Monday, October 28

The signs you see at the entrances and exits of the roads is where asphalt work is to be done on Monday, 10/28. These signs are to alert residents to the upcoming work and road closures, so please be sure to take note of them.

  • Sealcoat will be applied to the small section at the end of Midtown Mews, which will be completed on 10/28.

  • On Monday, 10/28, Rose Paving will be on-site to perform all asphalt repairs at Chestertown Mews, Little Quarry Mews, and Inspiration Mews. We appreciate your understanding as these roads will be temporarily closed during project operations.

  • Rose Pavering will also be in Thurgood Mews and Tschiffely Square Mews to conduct clean up of garage doors.

On the map, all the mews in RED are asphalt work locations.

Rose paving will conclude the project on 10/28/24.

If you have questions, please contact Amir Ibrahim, the Assistant Manager, at assistantmanager@kentlands.com.

Fall Leaf Collection

For townhomes and single-family homes, your collected leaves can be placed in biodegradable brown bags or an eco-friendly can or you can rake them into a pile onto the grassy area behind the curb line. Behind the curb line allows water to flow into catch basins. For this reason, do not rake leaves into gutters or streets.

The City of Gaithersburg collects bagged or canned leaves from the city streets on recycling day, every Thursday beginning 10/31 (Halloween). Leaves raked into a pile onto the grassy area behind the curb line will be collected only during the fall from the last week of October (beginning 10/28) through the last business day of December (12/31), weather permitting. Regular yard waste (brushes, branches, grass clippings, and other yard trimmings) will be picked up by the City during spring, summer, fall, and winter.

Spring leaf collection: Spring leaf collection is from the last week of March through the first two weeks of April, weather permitting.

The KCA's landscapers will maintain in keeping the mews clear of leaves.
