Landscape Maintenance
It is the perfect time to tend to your lots, lawns and landscaping. This is a friendly reminder to trim your shrubs, trees and hedges that overhang onto public or common walkway areas. We have seen many homeowners who allowed their shrubs, trees and hedges to encroach onto sidewalks. These impediments make it difficult for our residents and guests to walk. So, utilize the warm weather and trim your property's overgrowth. A neat and well-manicured property keeps the Kentlands community beautiful!

Pool Repairs - Update
In a recent publication, we notified you of required repairs to a section on the bottom of the social pool. Please be advised that temporary repairs have been made, but we must convert this area into “lap swim only” until the end of the pool season. The temporary repairs are safe but not ideal for walking or playing and as such, we are taking these additional precautionary measures. We hope you are enjoying the pool and please stay cool and hydrated during this excessive heat. Your understanding and cooperation are greatly appreciated.

Morning Court #2 & #3 Closures on
July 23rd
Courts #2 and Court #3 will be closed on Saturday, July 23rd from
9 am-12:30 pm. Our Kentlands Swim Team, the Kingfish, will be hosting the Divisional meet on that morning. Hosting divisionals is a prestigious opportunity for the Kentlands and does not occur annually. To prevent potential disruptions during the meet, those two courts will be closed for the morning.
In addition, when using all of the courts, please attempt to contain your pickleball and tennis balls within the courts. There have been resident concerns regarding balls being hit over the court fencing onto the pool deck, into the pool, or onto the basketball court.

Dear Kentlands and Lakelands Residents who are 55 and over:
Please consider joining the Village at Kentlands and Lakelands as a social member, service member or volunteer.
We Need Volunteers!
Our volunteers help Kentlands and Lakelands residents who are 55 and older who need help with light chores and transportation or simply want someone to talk to.
We also are looking for volunteers to help with media, organizing events, fundraising and more.
We Need Members!
Some people join because of the social opportunities the Village provides. Others join because they need a little help so that they can remain independent.
